This year the World Hairdressing Championships will be taking place in the beautiful city of Paris in France, and expectations of Team GB at the World Championships in November this year are building as the squad members continue to drive their metal in the run-up to the hairdressing fixture.

Wendy Harris - Team GB Manager, is in an optimistic mood as the squad travels around the UK for their training sessions in preparation for the French championships.

Wendy says "We aim to do our very best and bring back medals. We know that it will be tough, this is the World Championships, but we are ready and in great shape to take on the rest of the world".

The World Hairdressing Championships are organised by The Organisation Mondiale Coiffure (OMC) and they are happy and proud to have France as the host country of their most prestigious event: OMC HairWorld.

Salvatore Fodera OMC World President says "The world is waiting for this exciting show - competitors, exhibitors, hairdressers from all countries world-wide will meet in France to give the best they can and reveal the excellence of their performance and know-how.
