The Digital Apprenticeship Service is looking for 4 volunteers to help them test the new apprenticeship on-line systems - signing up an apprentice, choosing a training provider through to signing a contract. The testing will be done on the current apprenticeship frameworks, not the new Trailblazer standards.

This is your chance to look at the systems all employees will have to operate in future and give your honest feedback on how well (or not) they work for you and your business - so do get involved!

  • The Digital Apprenticeship service will come to your premises to give a short presentation, let you use the system and give feedback. The visit will take about 30 minutes of your time.
  • The system works on smartphones and tablets, so you don't have to have a computer on site.

  • You must have recently employed an apprentice for hairdressing or barbering, but you don't have to have an apprentice in your business right now to take part in the trial.

  • You need to be an employer, who is NOT also a training provider and NOT a levy payer (ie a large employer with a wage bill of £3m+) - they will be doing testing with training providers and levy payers later in the year.

  • Ideally in the following areas: Coventry/Birmingham, London, Manchester, but volunteers who are elsewhere may be included remotely.

To take part email hilary.hall@nhf.info before 5pm Friday 5th February 2016. Please provide your name, salon name, address and best phone number to call you on.
